Well.....I left out for the gun show today in the Kia-mobile....after a stop at Bojangles for a couple of spicy cajun biscuits, I stopped at my favorite little bookstore.....Trade-a-Book....I got me some more Westerns to read.....then it was on to Atlanta to the Eastman gun show....the place was PACKED!!.....I walked all the aisles about 5-6 times until my feet started to hurt but finally made up my mind on buying a new pistol after conferring with Brian  about it.....I found a brand new Kahr CW45 for $449.99...$481+chg and it was mine...the paperwork only took about 10 mins since I had my GFL ccw permit.....I bought a simple belt holster for it and headed for the door......but no less than 6 ppl asked me if i was SELLING a gun since the gun box I was carrying wasn't in a bag....."nope, I just bought it I told them"...a couple of them were dealers at the show.....business was booming I guess??.....I am going to go to another gun show next month for another clip for it....as though I need that excuse..... Cheesy

Pssssssst, ...Don't tell the Boys, but I stopped at my favorite antique mall to look around to kill some time before supper...one of the booths had a bunch of Coke stuff in it...there were two old coke bottle machines in it...one had the 7-up on it....it was $200....the coke one here was $275...they must not work for that kind of $$...I have a few coke collectibles...just nothing that big..

Since there was a home game in Athens.....UGA / SC....at 7pm, I headed to Gainesville, GA instead(50 miles from home)....they have a Red Lobster there where no one knows me.....it was time for another crack at the Endless Shrimp promo......I needed to celebrate buying the new gun.....

I got 15 fried shrimp and 15 scampi to start the ball rolling, after eating two cheddar biscuits and the tomatoes and cucumbers out of the salad.....

0-90 shrimp...belt stayed the same.....

90-120 shrimp....I loosened it a couple of notches....at the 120 point, my waiter told me my refills where given to someone else...WTH??.....I patiently waited until they brought my 2 more refills at once.....for a total of 140 shrimp in one hours time...this is what the tails looked like....

I'm pretty sure I could have eaten a few more, but I was getting dirty looks from the table next to me...it was a large party with some small kids...they were oogling my shrimp tail plate and the old ladies were whispering.... cooldude.. Cheesy... Grin

Oh well, by then, the game was going and I headed for home to beat the traffic.....the sweetest part of the deal is that I'm not even going to have to pay for the whole gun...my Wife has been pestering me for ideas for Christmas presents, and I couldn't tell her anything I wanted until today....I already have all the tools I need....have the best bike ever made, a sweet SUV to go cruising in, and a comfortable casa!!.....She said she and her Mom would split the cost of it with me for one of my Christmas presents.....dang, it doesn't get MUCH better than that!!.... cooldude.. Smiley

I've now knocked out 2 of the 4 things I plan on doing this weekend...I better get busy tomorrow to knock out the last two!!!..... Wink... cooldude... Cheesy.. Grin

When I was a kid I had a friend that would go down to the local gas station that had a machine like that, he would take his own glass and a bottle opener with him.  Just open the door pop the cap on the bottle and fill up the glass with nice cold soda.  I personally was never involved in his crimes but...... out of these machines too.....for some reason, the little 6 oz bottles always tasted better than the canned cokes!!......it seems there were some machines like this only 'horizontal"?
