Angry My back fender all of a sudden has spider cracks in all 4 bolt holes that hold the seats onto the fender. It only has 1200 miles, I've always just used a t-handle and snug them down by hand. Anyone else experience this??

I've had my Corbin seat off a few times the last week, no cracks that I saw...

The Corbin only uses the rear two holes, and there's rubber washers between
the seat and the fender... I forget - does the OEM seat have any kind of rubber
dampers between the seat and the fender?

It's supposed to have aluminum bushings for those screws - "Collar, Seat setting", part #77103-MFR-670.  Did you not have those?

I have those collars on my seat, and I don't have any cracks.  I had just the oem seats.

Grin My Honda dealer had me take pics and he will send to Rep. Within the first year they will replace cosmetic issues. I'll let you know if Honda steps up to the plate

The [plastic] body panels of the Valkyrie 1800 are surprisingly low priced: $281 to $285 fully painted for that rear fender, if they choose not to cover it.

Yeah, what is the labor cost to remove and re-install?

Removing the plastic rear fender is pretty low tech... a few push pins...
