Fluid recommendations?
«

I fiqure the ol girl I picked up a few months ago should have her fluids replaced. I know what I use on my X, but any favorites for cluth, brake, and coolant.
I'm also planning on new fork springs, what weight oil is recommended and can I go higher?

Takes the same bodily fluids as the X. I just did the progressive fork spring on the Valk and used AMSOIL Medium Suspension Fluid (10w I think), but added an 1/8th inch more than called for and it appears much better. I have the same in my X.

Dot 4 for the brake and clutch. 10w for the forks, however if you get new Progressive front springs, I believe they call for 15w fork fluid. If you don't have a Honda shop manual, you can download a pdf version on Dag's website, just do a search for Dag.

Any blinker fluid will work fine...Walmart, Auto Zone, doesn't matter.

Darn, that's right forgot the blinker fluid replacement. I think while I'm at it I'll also do the headlight fluids as well- it's not time yet but ya can't be too careful-
