We will attend and represent Fl. as well, for a bout the first 3 days anyway, staying 5 miles away at the Holiday Inn Express for free thanks to my earned points from work nights on the road.

Have to do some arranging as I need to accompany my mom on a trip to see
family later in the week to Portland Oregon.  She cant negotiate the airport etc by herself any longer

If anyone is looking for a non smoking room mate for Monday and Tuesday night I may be able to pull this thing off
and ride home Wednesday, go to work for a few hours and fly out west Thursday.

Sure hate to think about missing an Inzane

You're welcome to room with me on those days Oss.

Registering right now, on hold as a matter of fact.  No rooms with a king sized bed available, and maybe a fridge?

Told her I was with a group and after a long hold was told to call hotel directly.

No Problemo.  King is $10 more and a fridge and microwave is another $10.

We're done!

Was thinking of flying the Queen down but no direct flights (some would take her longer to fly than for me to ride  Cheesy ) so will prolly be 2-up for the ride.  Should be interesting..................

Fly her to Pittsburgh, only an 1.5 hr (Hwy)  (2.5-3 the fun way) ride from GZ.

That's do-able.  I'll give her the option.

If you hit Blackwater Falls, which is in Davis WV (little town), make sure you have lunch at Sirianni's. A little hole in the wall with GREAT pizza. Stop there every time we are in the area.

Back when I was a young lad in the Pgh area, I used to take off almost every weekend for Cheat Lake (GZ) or Blackwater Falls.  There ain't no bad riding in these areas.

Crazy B and I are registered!  We plan to arrive in the area  a week  before the event  and will likely stay a week or so after the event.

We will not be in a room at ground zero  this time but will be just a few miles away.  It will be fun to run some of my old hometown roads again.

Oss, no need to worry about the pie.  I know of a tiny hole in the wall restaurant  just a few miles north and a fun ride to get there.   They are well known for great pie and cake.   They are easy on the price too.  I would be happy to show you the way.

I have been thinking of some interesting ride possabilities in the area.  Wondering what the VRCC staff has in mind for rides and if I can be of any help to them in that respect.

See ya'all there.

I'm waiting to see if Mark will be signing up. If he does, then I will register.  I'll probably wait until later for hotel . Are there other hotels in the area if Ground Zero fills up?

All this depends on whether the folks would mind if I showed up in this.  Smiley

Great news, Wayne! Heck, I don't think anybody would mind even if you showed up in a wheelbarrow! I know I wouldn't... Hope to see you and Mark then... Naturally I hope to see myself there, too... but... I am an unpredictable gypsy, ya know...

Typically just a departure morning.  Likely a bike blessing that morning would be all that is scheduled.
