MODIFIED to 1999 Valkyrie (wife's error, that's me, lol) We need a starter for a 1999 Valk - husband had pulmonary embolism and chronic AFIB and Dr. wants him to give up the bike Sad. We need to get a new starter put in before listing it for sale this spring. Anyone have a line on where to get one? Also if interested in the 1994 Valk (it's nice), email me jeankievlan@mac.com

Try PinWall.com, pictures would be helpful.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Sorry to hear of ya'lls troubles and wish you all the luck.

You may want to check the year again.

Valks were made from '97-'03.

Unless you have a Goldwing.

However, and I'm not an expert on this, but I'd imagine all Valk starters would be the same. (and maybe Goldwing)

OK, so I modified the post Smiley, it is a 1999 Valkyrie. Husband rode it last in October. Health problems and no riding so he started it a couple of times since then but not in the last 6 weeks or so. When trying to start it wouldn't turn over. Had someone out (not a Honda guy) who said he thought it was the starter. Yesterday hubby had a bike friend look at it. He said since it's been sitting and not run he thinks the carbs are clogged up. They got the engine turned over runs but it dies out. They are going to try some kind of carb cleaner and Sea Foam (?) on it.

Any suggestions from here from Valkyrie experienced users. He'd like to get the bike going to take a last ride but then needs to sell it.

1999 Black Valkyrie with 69,000 miles (he actually loved/loves and rode the bike...).
