As most of you may or may not be aware, us boys in Jerzee tried to meet up in Wildwood this past weekend...that being said and trying to meet in a town for of bikes and WAWA's (local chain of 7-11 equivalents) things did not go smoothly...but it was a good day none the less...we all did not meet...but I did meet two riders and I/we will have stories for a life time...that is the good....the bad...a dead battery...(Andym's I/S Bat Died in the parking lot). I was down with 9 Harley riders, typical crew (they feel they need to travel in packs when in the company of a Valk...they feel safer  2funny) I am always telling them *(trash talking) about the reliabilty of my Valk and Valks in general...so with Andym"s I/S going down with a dead batt...when I finally caught up with my guys (along with Cos aka CA coatings) the ribbing was on...and I took it pretty well...

here is a copy of an e-mail one of my Harley buddies sent out this afternoon...made me chuckle bc he is a clown and can take as good as he gives ...thought I would share... 2funny

Hey Dave, please pass this on to the group from yesterday, I'm not sure who's who by their e-mail address.

Hello all

I had a great time and ride yesterday.  I thought you would enjoy this.

As some of you know, on the way home yesterday, I split up with Dave, Gary, Marty and Tom and decided to take the Parkway home by myself.  It was incredible of how many groups of riders that passed me while I was in the right lane, doing 68mph. Harley’s, Ricers, Wingers, Beamers, and I think I saw 1 Valkyrie, it was on the side of the road broken down, probably had a dead battery.

All I saw in my rear view mirrors was groups of headlights quickly approaching.  I felt like a lone wolf, cruising by myself in the right lane until approaching the first toll plaza. A chopper slowed down, pulled next to me, looked over and then split to the right to pay his toll as I cruised to the left to go through the easy-pass fast lane. I did have the opportunity to read the back of his vest.  I guess it took him about 5 minutes to catch up with me.  There I was again, cruising in the right lane doing my 68mph.  The copper guy pulls up and decides to cruise with me up the parkway.  It was nice, now I had a riding buddy.  We continued cruising together until I took the exit for the A/C expressway.  He waved, I waved as we departed.  Guess what the back of his vest read, Warlocks, Atlantic NJ Chapter.  How funny is that, me cruising on my police bike next to a Warlock on his chopper, Priceless.

Ok, let me continue on.  So I get off the parkway and take the A/C expressway. Another highway from hell, I couldn’t wait to get off, I took the Hammonton/Buena exit.  I needed to stretch my legs and pulled into a Wawa.(thank goodness for Wawa’s).  And guess what’s parked in the parking lot?  A broken down Valkyrie, no, remember the chopper in Wildwood we were all looking at, the one with the springy bike seat, tall sissy bar, passenger foot pegs, and no passenger seat.  You know the one Dave; you mentioned something about the way the passenger would have to sit.  Well the owners name is Bob.  I informed him that we were checking out his bike in Wildwood.  And we all had the same question, why do you have passenger foot pegs with no rear seat.  He explained they are for his wife, he has a small pad that has suction cups that adhere great to the rear fender.

So we left together (another riding buddy) cruised up 206, Chopper Bob went straight and I stopped at Pic-a-lilly’s,  A short time later I headed home, drove through Shamong, Medford Lakes and I think I made it home by 7:45.  Pam could not get over the amount of traffic I hit coming home (I think she believed me).

Dave, if you want to add members to LHMC, let me know, I have the Warlock and Chopper Bob’s number.

Dave, Jim didn’t look at his hat yet, but I did tell him about the pink one you wanted me to buy for him.

Until next time, Gregg

So ya see there is at least one Harley guy with a sense of humor.... Grin
