what is the method that allows you to post youtube videos and not just the link...its like [youtube][\tube] or something like that

might slow the site down even more,, on my forum i disabled videos,, have to make a link to them

The version of the forum software would need to be updated. The SMF we use tries to do it automatically but Youtube changed the way embedding works so that our version of SMF doesn't do it anymore.

If done properly it shouldn't slow the forum down at all, unless they're configured to autoplay or something.

In other words, nothing you can do on your end to embed videos anymore, the admin of the site would need to fix some stuff on the backend to make it work once more.
