I need someone who has a Woodys fairing to take a measurement for me. I need to know the distance between the center and one of the outside shield mounting bolts. I want to find out if the same shield replacements that fit a Woodys, will fit my Tsukayu.   You out there Bighead?

Any harley shield will fit a Woody's fairing. Let me go measure.

10 1/4 inches from center of either side bolt to center of middle bolt cooldude

Thanks BIghead,,  mine is the same,,, makes you wonder how everyone ended up with the same exact measurement.  Clearview would not give me a measurement on their Harley batwing replacement shield, (cited legal issues on giving out a measurment on their own product??) and Tsukayu would not tell me if a Harley shield would fit their audio fairing (citing the same issue).  ANyhow, it looks as if I can use the same replacement shields that fit on Woodys.

Could you take one more measurement for me?? I would like to know the distance from an outside shield bolt to the outside edge of the shield.
Thanks again.

PM from Glenn.

Hey guy, Glenn from Woody's (aka ¿spoom) here. I quit posting years ago because of all the political BS but from time to time folks send me a link to some posting here that they think might be of interest. Regarding the windshield sizes (and why they're often the same among aftermarket fairings) it's pretty simple and feel free to share the info, copy & paste, whatever. The shield size I use is the same as 1996~2013 Electraglide/Streetglide bikes because I purposefully did the spacing & radii when I designed the fairing so that I could be in the fairing business without being in the windshield business. There are so many great shields, trim pieces and pouches out there for those years of H-Ds that I wanted to make sure folks could use most of them even on a fairing designed for a Honda. Not sure why a shield company wouldn't want to tell a prospective customer what size their product was, but I respect their right to do so Wink
Your bumblebee still looks great!
Take care,
Glenn
