Any one out there know if a 96 gold wing  swing arm will fit in a 99 interstate frame?

Can't say for sure it will or won't, but I'm guessing it would take some modification to either the frame, or swing arm, or both.

Yes, it will. You do have to use the Goldwing differential as well as the rear wheel and brake.  I know this because I built a Valkyrie using a wrecked 1999 GW 1500 for parts. The front forks will fit the Valkyrie frame but there are no stops, so the forks will hit the tank. Just a FYI. I also used a 1999 Valkyrie frame. No modifications needed to fit the swingarm.
BUT the shock mounts are farther apart at the upper mount .  They are aa bit of a squeeze at the lower mounts.
Beware: when mounting the shock on the right, the bolt can break the aluminum on the diff. How do I know? tickedoff
After building this bike, I rode it from south Mississippi to Inzane 15. Then on to the Canadian border. And then back home. So, I do know that it works. BTW, I replaced the gw parts with Valkyrie parts.

Good luck and ride safe. cooldude

Thanks for the reply. I have a 99 interstate that I want to trike. Found a complete kit that came off of a 96 wing. The guy said he did not think it would  fit but could not tell me why. I have built 3 trikes from scratch and just lost one in a fire along with shop and all equipment and tools. So I know I can make it fit but would rather go the easier way this time.

Why not call the manufacturer of the trike convertion kit and double check?
