Find the palm tree that grew in the center of another tree along our ride

Saturday, 2-20 RTE-Chicago Pizza and other options. Meet time (goal) at destination is 11am. Keyword- goal.
https://giordanos.com/menu/kissimmee-celebration/

7866 West Irlo-Bronson  Memorial Highway Kissimmee 34747  opens at 11.  Could be
a busy place, take note this is just a busy area.

For the West- Central group this is a longer country ride than my usual posted rides.

I have mentioned this restaurant at the rte tables a few times.

Two meeting places for the West- Central folk  1) Cottage at 8am. 2) Marathon Gas Station (top off gas if needed both groups) at the corner of 48 and 301 for the Hardee's group at 9am.
I have been looking at a few country roads, some I have been on and some that I have not. There is a roughly 200' gravel section in the ride so trust me when we go enduro for a second. The ride destination will be a Chicago style Italian restaurant deep into Jack's hood, where the food prep wait for deep dish is generally long so be prepared. Suggestion: have a small breakfast or snack. Sherry, John Paul an I ate there once and it was wonderful, however some of the reviews are harsh. Yes Nick they do have thin crust pizza and you can have little fishies on it. Please post number for reservations sake.  Shortly after we leave the restaurant we will gas up at 7-11 and a tad bit after that I will turn left at a specific T intersection where the Hardee's group will turn right headed
for rt 50 (Cortez) and home.

The ride will get country shortly after leaving the Bushnell area and will be a series of windy roads where we will do some zig-zagging and one loop. Parts of the last five miles will be a heavy traffic area so we will all need to know the address just in case of a split. As turning a group around here will not be an option.  Or just keep in mind that after the large sweeping exit ramp loop to stay in the right lane and turn right, directly after passing Cracker Barrel. Destination is on the left behind TGI Fridays.

Est.
Lecanto to bushnell .75 hr
Npr to bushnell 1.75 hr (cottage stop)
Bushnell to destination 1.75 hr

Again for those that want to join from other areas the Goal is 11:00a meet time.  Keyword - goal.

Lastly my disclaimer. As Jack mentioned fear of posting a ride, my back is getting much better and I rode the 1500 about 35 miles today and a road construction dip down and dip up is where lady 1500 reminded me of my back, 35 miles only because of rain.  I should be good to go but a back can stop a big dude real quick.  Oh and weather.

Jerry,
I'll be in Kissimmee that day anyway for the Osceola County Sheriff "SMART" motorcycle course.
Class is from 7:00am till 2:00pm
If the tire kick'n extends your lunch stop... I'll hook up and share the ride back. I'll be 35 minutes away @ 501 Simpson Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34744
Very nice post, all bases are covered cooldude Glad to see you back in the saddle.

PS...That 1500 has only seen rain twice in the last 12 years, take it easy on her, she might freak out.

I wondered about that. No worries I cleaned her off the second she hit the stable sore back or not.   I did have a couple in their 70s absolutely freak out when I stopped a true value to pick up some sockets.  The lady came unglued. "Wow what a gorgeous bike and on and on.............. You done good!!

It is My "Goal" to meet ya's there ! We will have family in town that weekend (we are all going to the 500)  who are bringing their HD so I will try to get them to come along. I would use the 429 toll road from Apopka.

Going to try and make it. Going through that area always raises your blood pressure so remember....the highways aren't idiot proof, especially around that neck of the woods because of the tourists. Sometimes I think they purposely give driving tests in some of the northern states, if you fail or do poorly you get a free pass to Mickey The Rat and other surrounding overpriced tourist traps such as Universal, Sea World, etc.  MAKE SURE YOUR HORN IS LOUD AND WORKS!  Cheesy

I've lived here almost 50 years and have only been to Dizzy World or Sea World on State business. Never been to Universal either except on State business, even though my office was right across the street for a few years. Many of the tourists move through those places in the same manner in which they drive. Other than that, it's a great place to waste time and money.   Grin

Going to try to make this one, but will be going a different route. Probably Knights Griffin to 33 then dean still to 27 n, then 192. With any luck will see you there.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Bumping this ride up but also to let you know I have been over ruled and cannot make this ride, seems I will be joining the Hogs of Daytona for a ride to Titusville. Have fun, enjoy the ride Jerry has planned and take pics, as will I.
