Danny, parts # 13 & 9 do not have to be removed?
Nope. They do not. Pull the rear end/shaft, pull the brake resevoir out of the way, push the boot back, push the ujoint off the engine into the swing arm, drop the swing arm, and the ujoint will come out in that space where the brake resevoir is.
The hardest part of the job is getting the durn boot back on. New ones are easier and they only cost $8 so I recommend a new one.
Biggest trick is getting the shaft back into the joint...put the joint on the rear engine shaft, install the boot, then left the swing arm ABOVE horizontal. Shove rear end with shaft in, wiggle till 4 bolts start into the swing arm...then shake it till it slams home. Cant' miss.
