Anybody want to join in and get some of the new members to show off their rides this weekend ? Very short notice but let's see what happens. It is on rt. 13 a nice ride from either direction. The weather may be cool so let's set lunch at 1 p.m. and kick tires from noon on. I think it is still considered St. Augustine, sorry for lack of links but I am posting from my phone.   cooldude

Sounds interesting..... let me know if it becomes a reality. Also the physical address would be a big help.

nice place, good food.  but be careful going in/out the driveway, it's steep.   it's a biker & boaters hangout.   Smiley
not sure what we're doing, it's a nice ride there for us?  will know in the am, being fickle at the moment.     Wink

I am afraid that I will have to pass on this one. I sold a couple of rifles, and I have to go to the Range and test fire them before delivery later on Saturday.

Awesome Day Guy's & Gals  cooldude 417 Great Miles for me, perfect day, couldn't ask for better. Had a small but great group show up, and I thought the food was pretty awesome. Everyone's dish looked great, and the portions generous.

I will take this same route when I head up to Myrtle Beach in April, avoiding just about every major road. And U can definitely go at a nice pace and make good time. I made it from the Restaurant in ST. Augustine to my door in 3.5 hrs with one 15 min stop, not bad.  cooldude

Glad y'all had a good day for a nice ride.  I went to the fairgrounds in Orlando today for what we Amateur radio operators call a "hamfest" where we buy and sell Ham radio related "stuff".  Billed as the second largest one in the country behind Dayton Ohio.  I thought about cancelling and doing the ride but took the car down there instead.

Wow, great time Nick ! what a gorgeous day to ride. Nice to meet Art on his 98 blue n cream (his 5th valk), and Keith and Amy on a gem of a Valkyrie, 3700 miles. Some good folks who only need to ride more.  uglystupid2

Awesome day for riding and hanging out with friends and good food  cooldude

Mike, great call on the Crab Shack  cooldude

Left home a little before 8am and met up with Nick in Eustis, coffee at DD with some lie sharing and then headed to meet up with Mike, Liz, Tony and Bert.

Mike led us through road 13s on the shores of the St Johns River, nice road with lots of great views, sorry no time for picture taking.

We made it to the Crab Shack and Art was already there fending off Harley riders and saving parking spots for the Valksters
(Statement partially true, at least the part of Art being there  Grin)

Made it home by 6pm with about 350 miles on the clock and the great feeling of a day spent on the open road with the wind in your face on an awesome bike and sharing lies and laughs with friends.

Place looked great with lots of seating inside and out.

Keith (NDFRC) and Amy's Valkyrie with a really nice paint job. Great meeting you both and hope to catch up again soon. Also congrats to Keith for quitting smoking  cooldude

Art's blue and cream Valkyrie, nice meeting you Art, you fit right in with the group, specially with your stories about your neighbor and the spanking he got after dearing you and your Valk Grin

Tony's Interstate, exhaust sound awesome Tony

Some shots of the parking lot and the Whiskey barrel, never seen a barrel move that fast down the road  Evil Grin

Can't forget about the riders
From the right counterclockwise is Bert, Keith and Amy, Art, Tony, Mike ( The Godfather ) Liz (Mrs. Godfather) and Bronxboy Nick.

My neighbor is big into that and always goes to the fests. His first name is "Straight" not sure of the spelling or if that is a nickname.

On the way home, we were following Bert. Not sure where Bert was heading, Me & Jack turned off  and headed back the way we came.

Down the road a piece and ahead of us we spotted Bert. So Jack & I tried to catch up to him  Grin U would have thought that the G-Men were chasing him down for his Shine  2funny

We finally did catch him and continued our brisk pace thru the Forrest till Bert Split off and headed home, Awesome Ride !!!
