If I recall correctly, that's the drain for any water/oil that is separated from the crankcase breather tube.

I'm trying to chase down a vacuum leak.  Decided to start over with a different air box.
The bike is de-smogged and I removed the crankcase vent plumbing. Couldn't remember what that third nipple is for.

S O M E  will leak at the pair valve mount holes , tho it is  not common. Check the intake connections , clamps and o rings.
 If running , a whiff of eather or  wd 40 will change the engine  speed

I would also check the manifold's were they bolt to the head. Any brown coloring would indicate a vacumm leak. My O-rings were flattened out I replaced them with Vitron-GT sold on EBay they are about $15.50 with shipping.
