Had a demonstration of this product today at the shop.

We just happened to have a 96 Taurus that had been setting about 16 months with sour gas.

We had drained the tank and filled with fresh, had 2 cylinders that were firing but not running on them.    I had put a full can of SeaFoam in the tank, drove the car about 10 miles, parked it and let the stuff work.  NO workie, took it our for another 10 miles with a 2nd can of SeaFoam, before ya start hollering, this product is petroleum, look on the can, parked it and let it set for awhile.

Guess who showed up, SeaFoam factory rep with our O'Reilly salesman.  They wanted us to buy their piece of equipment for about $1,500 total.   He showed it to us, we smiled and said no thanks.   Then he brought out the aerosol can with the little red tube.   Bought a can and they left.  Started our car and it still was missing on one cylinder.

Took the spray can, pulled the injector & the plug, sprayed in the plug hole, sprayed the injector, and sprayed in the injector hole, put it back together and let it set some more.

Fired it up, and she wanted to run, but was still missing, sprayed in the throttle body a few times and she snapped out of it and run like a clock.  I brought it home tonight and I'll see what happens in the morning.

Seafoam serves a purpose...lot's of good stuff in it!
I have found it sucks for cleaning (great for storage) and preventative measures.
Read the contents/ingredients side by side. Compare to B-12 or Techron, or Lucas fuel treatment. There is much better products out there that WILL clean our Valks including slow jets.

If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

Was the spray can called 'Deep Creep' ??  That stuff works great..It sounds like that car may have had a carboned throttle plate also,,quite common..

Roger that! Nothing I have found beats Berryman's B-12 Chemtool Carburator cleaner.

Nope, it is labeled Sea Foam.

Throttle plate had already had a snoot full of carb cleaner.......

Went out this morning, fired it up & drove in to the shop.    Ran like it was supposed to........  Will call the customer after we get through the morning fiasco & tell him it is ready to go..........

Sounds like a Jeep in the door this morning will get the same treatment,
