Hello all!  Question:  what/ which handlebars do you have?  Also: risers, which/ what length/ height?
Simply curious because I do know they can be a style issue, handling issue, preference issue, safety issue,  etc.
Pictures would be handy/ nice.  cooldude
I have what was sent to me from eBay.  Shocked  Came with Interstate controls. (cables go down)  Stock risers with 1" blocks to bring them up a bit.

Ride safe and see you in Morgantown.

Stock bars, two bikes; 4 inch (Aeromach/LaMonster Honda pullbacks) and 5.5 inch risers (Harley Duece knockoffs).

This is not a looks issue (and on interstates, you can hardly see them), it is a comfort and ride-ability issue.

Stock risers are 3 1/8" rise.

When you lean too far forward riding (depending on your size), you can get arm, shoulder, back issues (shoulder is the main compliant).  The longer the ride, the more noticeable the issues.

Sitting up at attention with feet down on the controls, it's not so bad.  But kicked back on a driver's backrest, feet up on the Hwy pegs and going all day, it is an issue (for me anyway).

At 5'9", I like the 4" risers for performance twisty riding, but I like the 5.5s for the kicked back cruising riding.

This is old and has a couple small errors, but is good reference.

For me at 6' I have Harley Duece risers and standard bars. I found the standard risers gave me wrist ache. I usually ride twisty mountain roads and this suits me fine. YMMV.

Chubby drag bars with integral risers, gives the bike a unique look and feels good too

I had 98 shadow aero bars on my Valk. Why?  Because I had a Shadow which I sold and switched . I also had 1" risers. The Shadow bars had a different hand position and was more comfortable for me.
