Good use of a drone for the aerial shots.

I think this should be a group destination...really looks like our kind of roads. Love all the open expanse and small old farm towns  cooldude This will be on my list of rides, maybe put this one together with the Ride of Fools, I think that's what they call it...lol

Gathering of the fools? I think that's it. I also think that area would be a good change of pace from the Florida riding we are use to. It would be great to have someone from Texas with a few good day trip rides involved in the planning.

Alvin Tx where the gathering of the fools is held is flat as a pancake. Good riding is in west texas, I have rode quite a few roads there, lots of mountains. About 10 years ago, Anna & I rode through Texas, visited her sister In Brenham, Tx, then rode to Tuscon Az, south from there through New Mexico, A Stop at Calsbad caverns, then hit the mountains in west texas, then south to Del Rio and into Mexico. Then back through San Antonio, visited the Alamo and river walk. then sort of followed the coast back to Florida. We spent 3 weeks on the road, no hurry, just sight seeing and enjoying the trip. I would love to do it again, but sadly the wife no longer rides.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Grumpy, just remind them the lead on a trip like this gets all expenses paid.   2funny
