Last weekends salty ride crap washed off.  She be a gleamin' machine now man!

God I love this bike!  And what I paid for it..unbelievable...  As far as I'm concerned, the deal of lifetime on a new big bike!  Sometimes it's not only real cool to be different...but savvy as well.  Many of us got such a good deal on these bikes because the majority of people are just blind sheep...cannot think independently.   Man it doesn't look like a Harley..ugh.... Lips Sealed  LOL! 2funny

Totally Agreed  cooldude
x2!!

Sheep is right.  After 10 years of development, I think it's safe to say that this is the most refined big bike on the market today.  Riding it is an eye-opener, a bike this big just can't be this good.  But a lot of people are passing over it because it doesn't look like yesterday (Thank you for that!!) or they've been told by others that it looks "Strange".

Hey, too bad for them, more for us!!  Grin

HEY WHATS THAT SPOT ON THE FRONT FENDER Shocked Shocked

Just kidding you are so right in all you said, and I agree, its so funny to have the Harley riders look at the bike and they don't know what to make of it and there is really no sound to speak of. I had a few come up to me and asked me that's 1800 cc right?

Had one guy come up to me with patches and denim jacket and somewhat confrontational but he was smiling and say that's 1832 right, right? I said, yes 1800, he said, no, no its 1832 I started to laugh to myself and agreed with him and he looked,  smiled then walked away.

I almost bought the blue but I wanted the chrome accents of the red, nice bike Adrian. I am glad I am not the only one who says I LOVE THIS BIKE. From people giving me the thumbs up in cars going by to girls checking the bike and then me then the bike out,  ???  Grin  to people walking up and complimenting me on the bike the reactions never cease to amaze me. One thing I would never have thought of doing on the 1500 is it has given me the ability to go through some traffic. Its so nice to be able to have the power, agility and narrower width to squeeze through the tighter spaces that happen in traffic situations. Link this with the better brakes and stopping power and it begs to go where you want it to go. You make the choice not the bike, you have all the tools you need to navigate the roads its just up to you how and to what extent you use them in this bike.

Yep, I love this new Valk.  Not too many on the road know about them.  When I come up to another rider, twist the throttle, and leave them in the dust, I get a big grin on my face.  This thing has soooo much power in it, it is freakin ridiculous.  Definitely a sleeper.
I remember when I first test rode one, and I twisted the throttle on it like I did my old Valk.  I almost lost my grip on the bike.  I couldn't get over the power then, and it still amazes me.  It sure is a POWER cruiser.

This is why I usually wear now when I go riding.  3/4 helmet with the black shield...I feel like Racer X 2funny...

Most people on bikes, especially them loud, but go nowhere things with dudes trying to be cool freezing their butts off....  The just get the hell out of my way when they cannot shake me off their 6 o'clock then SMOKE them whether it be in a turn or on a straight away.  I am so proud to ride this thing man. Looking good Adrian   cooldude

That blue looks really good, specially with the blacked out forks, valve and timing cover.
Sheffjs and I have talked about that before and we think it looks really good.

I have seen the black and red versions of the 1800 Valk but have not seen the a blue one in person yet.

Enjoy your ride  cooldude cooldude

Hey Thanks man...yeah, the blue really caught my attention while at was at Honda comparing the available colors. It looks really good when you detail it.  By the way, that red 1500 is BAD ASS man!  There is a company in Germany that has customized allot of the older Valks that way and I think their stunning...Nothing else on the road like them...  very unique...not just another 'v-twin' ugh..
