I used it a few days ago with no problem but today I went to take it off it's base and as I did the power led came on and stayed on. It's on right now and none of the buttons work. I've held down the power button for over a minute hoping for a reboot but nothing. Anyone else experience this?

I've never had that issue with my G9. Try letting the battery run down entirely to see if that resets it.

I've read online that others have done that and it worked so that's what I'm doing now.
Others have taken them apart and removed the battery and that worked as well. I'd do the same but I'd need the worlds smallest torx to do it!  Roll Eyes

Was hoping someone else has had this experience and discovered a quick fix.

Thanks Kevin.

I bought this unit used a few years ago as I only needed one, so I could link up to my buddies that already had the G9 units. I had never looked for any software updates so I did so yesterday and now the unit is up to date. Never thought of hooking it up to the computer cause it always worked.

Glad I didn't have to look for another one as I think I got a good deal buying this one and it is simple to use.
