I brought my bike in 2006....the previous owner had let it sit too long. Al Lambs too care of it and he spoke of them highly.....That was three years ago and I've never used them....good luck...anyone else know of anybody?

Flyboy (Charles Schandelmeier) might be someone who could assist. He seems to fix anything else on Valks. Also, Daniel Meyer might have some good ideas. He is the guru of gurus on Valks.

I've had great luck with the guys over at Maxim Motorsports in Allen on US 75 at McDermott, just south of the Harley dealership. It's the old Plano Honda folks, just in a new building. I deal with Nathan at the service desk and they've always done me right.

"Guru of Guru's" LOL! Mostly, I'm just not shy about taking things apart and have extreme confidence (some say to an irrational degree) in my ability to put things back together. But...not really a carb guy. Bikes seldom need carb work if you ride them...and I ride mine constantly. I've put kits in carbs...I've not had to tinker on Valk carbs. If you're not wanting to do it yourself, I'd recommend flyboy or Al Lambs. If it's running, but "getting worse" I'd recommend testing the petcock to make sure it's functioning correctly...

I think your on to something with the petcock. I started it up this morning and it will not hardly even run with the choke on. I will check the petcock hopefully that is all it is.
Thanks for all the replies

While your checking the petcock, make sure you check all of your vacuum hoses for cracks.

I agree, you need to check the petcock. I have only done the carb balancing and desomp of the bikes. I have not done anything else to the carbs. Good luck.
