I saw pieces and parts of one layin' all over The Dragon back in the spring. A lady from Florida flipped it in a curve. I've followed a couple also and as I stated above....Dangerous as a cocked gun in the twisties.

Yeah, I've never thought they were a good idea. Don't know why, but that 4th wheel on the ground just seems a bad idea.

Pittsburgh city motor cops install these on their police bikes in the winter. They ride them all year...even in the snow. And yes, I know this doesn't answer any of the original questions.

Bob, Funny you mention that. I was at the Pgh City Auction where they auctioned off all their HD Sidecars.... (I think 2 of the local dealers bought em all up). But there were a few cops there that had the Trike Kits on their bikes.... one big cop said he didn't like it at all, HATED IT and he couldn't get up on sidewalks like he could with the sidecar etc. The other cop liked it, but didn't say anything about the sidecar setup so he didn't provide a comparison. You know how that goes. I wouldn't mind trying one out... and just might on an different bike at a local dealer with one of those on (take it for a test ride)..... just to see how it works or handles. If anyone here uses one, I would like to hear more about it. Sorry to hijack the thread.....

Figured if I don't like the Voyager kit I'll sell it, got a guy that wants it already. The jury is out on the kit as of yet need to take a look at the thing and do some adjusting and checking. Owner didn't do his own work and may need a little TLC. Bike is sweet, 45,500 miles. Now I have 2, my original (bought new in 98) Black Tourer with 157,000 on the clock and this just broke in one.

I have a friend that had one on his VTX. He has now purchased a Valk trike and likes it better. I followed him at times and I know if it is not set up right it looks dangerous, a crown in the road really seems to throw them. That friend is a 100 mile a day rider and did not use it alot, mostly to stabilize the bike when his wife was on the back. He is now trying to sell it and has not had much intrest because you must buy a mounting kit, which is different for every bike. Another lady I know has one and loves it. I guess it is like anything else, not for everyone.
