Recently installed a set of the Rexmar baffles in my truck stacks hoping to reduce the drone.  It doesn't sound any different to me and I am fearful the fuel mileage is suffering.  Only have a couple of tanks thru it and hit reserve at 100 miles on the first tank, but had not ridden for quite a while, and was a very windy day.  I am at 110 miles on the second tank and still haven't had to go reserve, so am hoping to get my normal 120-125.

Just wondering if anyone else using these baffles has noticed a drop in MPG.  Finished it off with a set of Grumpy's tips--looks great.

Fazer:
I have a set of truck stacks with the full "Ragnar Cut" and put a set of the RexMarine baffles in to eliminate the drone. I did notice that the bike actually started a bit easier and the drone was reduced and didn't notice any change in mpg.
I didn't really like the sound so drilled a 3/4" hole in each baffle to make it a bit louder, still didn't like the sound so removed them completely and lengthened the stacks about 6" past the fender and put a set of Grumpy's tips on them. That cured the drone but still allowed me to ride a reasonably noisy bike which is my preference.

Mine also has the Ragner Cut with 18" AirFlow extensions.  Drone was horrible.

Put in a set of the Rex Marine silencers into the 18" extensions and installed a set of the large bore Grumpy tips at the end of the extionsions.

Drone is 99% gone and bike now has a nice (and mellow) rumble to it now.  It's not stock quiet but it's not at all loud either...just a nice tone with a mellow rumble with a nice growl.

Never have notice any difference if mpg.  If anything, it went up.

Thanks Lyle and BF--just got thru the tank after inserting the baffles and hit 126 before needing reserve.  Got 31.4 on that tank, which is consistent with what I got before the baffles.  My stacks extend a good 6" beyond the bags.  Sure would like to increase the MPG.  I read that some guys get 35-37.  I took it very easy on the last tank but still got poor mileage.
