I've noticed my monster seems to lean more than usual or maybe it's just me can it bend or anything goes down there mess up?  When up still sits flush with pipe and everything seems normal . This was still apparent before the c/t switch so I don't think it's that any ideas ??

check cross member for bend. if thats ok it is like mine was the hole in the kick stand support is worn. i fixed mine by taking off the support and getting a SS bushing the size of the bolt and drilling out the support then pressing in the bushing. now it sits like it should. i also have a CT on the rear.

I have two identical interstates, suspension/tire-wise, and one leans noticeably more than the other.  And I have no cross member damage/bend.  No big deal.  Would take a tornado to blow it over.

The side stand mount can be shimmed a little or they sell a little chrome shoe to put on the stand ground pad (flat part) (or it could be pulled and something welded to the bottom), but if you straighten the bike too much, it will fall over the other way onto your car or dog (or something) if the rear tire goes flat overnight.

I've seen a few with c/t using this.  I've been told they need to file the kickstand a little to make it if fit but it does raise it a little.

My bike leans more than 20 degrees on the side stand (yeah, I measured Grin), and it's not bent.  I thought it was excessive, then the forum guys chimed in that it's normal (unless the frame member is bent or damaged), so in case you get two flats the bike won't fall over the other way.  One check to ensure the stand itself isn't bent is if the lower part (the foot) that sits on the ground is still parallel to the ground when the bike is on its side stand--then I'd say she's fine and don't mess with it.  Some guys have opted to try and bend their side stand (with heat) to lessen the lean, but as a machinist with a rudimentary knowledge of metallurgy I wouldn't recommend it--that weakens the forging and the stand could then snap or possibly bend and collapse.  Others have shimmed the side stand mount to lessen the lean, and still others have put some sort of pad under the foot of the stand to lessen the lean--either of these mods would be better than trying to bend the stand.
