I'm happy for you, Ray!  I wish I could go, but I can't.  Hope to soon, though.

Looking forward to your ride report!

Big Bend is awesome.  I was there last August and had the place all to myself because it was so hot.  I recommend doing the ride along the Rio Grande from Presidio to Lajitas.
I hope everybody gets to see the Alpine, Fort Davis, Marfa area before they build the pipeline and ruin the roads and views.

How was your trip, Ray? Pics? Recommendations? Warnings?

Ray, I truly hated to have to play the 'wimp card' on ya and back out on your trip. The weather between us then, however, was just too much for me to tackle... Fast forward about two weeks, however, and here I am...! Yep, I'm seated in my motel for the evening... in Terlingua, TX!!! We'll be riding through the Park tomorrow on our way back to Friendswood for GOTF. Hope to see you there!

Well DDT, looks like you're up.  See you, and hopefully Ray, in Friendswood on Friday.   cooldude
