Nice day for a ride and there was a few rides going on today to different destinations and times.

This is how I spent my day:

It was 6:45am and the sun was up with a little chill in the air, could hear the rumble of a bike here and there so said good bye to my wife and jumped on the red beast and headed north east.
Light traffic on Saturdays so made good time and made it to Daytona by 8:45, not too much going on at that time so it was a perfect excuse for a breakfast stop  Grin

My next stop was Destination , got there by 9:30 and was able to get prime parking next to J&M's tent. Walked around, talked to a few people and did the mandatory "help the local economy" thing and bought myself some shades and a pair of gloves  Roll Eyes
Looked at the time and it was 12:30 so decided to head over to Main Street, as I was walking out I see a familiar group of bikes, 2 F6Bs and 2 Valks, it was the Silver Springs and Eustis gang  Cool sorry I missed you guys.

Made it to the Main Street madness and lucked out with another prime parking spot right on main street and in the shade cooldude
Talked some more and did the sightseeing thing and a couple of more hours flew by so it was time to head to the Speedway for my last stop before heading home.

Made it to Speedway and parked between Ultimate's tent and the Honda tent, another great parking spot, I guess I lucked out today  Grin
I talked with a guy from Canada that came over and said that he owns a 97 Valkyrie that he bought straight from the crate, he knew about the VRCC but he said he did not belong to it anymore  Shocked
Also got to talk to Des from Ultimate, he remembered the red beast from last year and said that he will be at Inzane this year.
BTW Jerry, still no seat for the 1800 Valk and does not seem like he has any plans for it  Sad

I also did my Honda Tent sit on the bikes thing.
Sat on the 1800 Valk, the F6B and the Goldwing  Cheesy laugh angel crazy2
Talked to the Honda Rep, he said what we already know, no 2016 Valk and he did not want to say if there was going to be a 2017 Valk.
He did say that the Valk and the CTX 1300 had not had the expected customer acceptance.

Victory motorcycles had a demo show like the one The Motor Man does at every bike fest, the bike was even marked POLICE with the lights and all.
Only that this guy was doing a lot of comparing with HD and emphasizing the superiority of Victory ( I guess they are really trying to get some of HD's market), impressive the things they can do with this bikes even to the point of coming to a complete stop while on first gear  without having the bike stall one bit.

Made it home by 8:45 ready to call it a night but I thought I would share some of today with you guys.

Did see some Valks including this one with PA tag, I guess the guy must be a snowbird and a Dolphins fan.
BTW You see that his vertical tag is legal, top to bottom  Grin

Cool little truck

Looks like a great time.  No worries as the 1800 Corbin seat has proven it self to be perfect comfort on long or short days to the point that I want to try a 1500 Corbin one day.    cooldude

We did not do very many miles yesterday however it felt great to get back into the curvy, hilly, tree covered roads we know so well.
