man, once you get use to the scale, size and styling of the new Valk... all of the Harleys seem so small....in comparison..*most* anyway.

The Sportsters and V-Rods especially...total minibikes..

Still cannot believe the prices...holy crap!  Many, many on the floor with aftermarket paint and chrome/wheels...min. 32K!  WOW Cheesy

Pretty bikes...indeed...but would never rid myself of my Valkyrie for one...especially now that I am used to it...Completely different class...even at one third the price.

Many people are both...REALLY nutz, and REALLY rich!

I remember being in a HD dealer in Scottsdale  and , yeah , the prices  were crazy  .

I would not consider a HD unless I could flip  for a profit

Oh BS Kidd man; just sayin'!! There is HELLOVA lot more to the Valk then just plastic! LOL 2funny  Try 4 flippin extra cylinders and it's supporting systems (2 radiators enshrouded in a plastic 'cover') not to mention more displacement, (103ci Vs. 112ci = greater HP/torque) and average extra 1.5" in wheelbase, larger fuel tank..etc.   No comparison man...as I said, in a different class altogether...

WE WILL NOT TOLERATE VALKYRIE DISDAIN IN ANY FORM!!!!!!!!!!!!! laugh 2funny

Our bikes are big because of the big radiators the big tires, the big engine, big frame and something needed to cover them. I am actually glad these parts are plastic because they come painted and are not that expensive so they are easy to replace and don't shake rattle and roll like steel might. Not to mention weight is less and the supports have to be constructed stronger to support the plastic that does not have much strength. Now if you had a Goldwing I would think differently as there is much plastic on them.

I probably could have had a Harley cheaper than my Valk since my son sells them. Not a bad bike but I too think they are pretty light weight and just never got used to 2 cylinders.

Roll Eyes Harley has really come along way. My buddy has a 2015 with all the goodies and its a fine bike. He has twice as much in it as my Valk. but he has everything and alot more electronics than mine. I could ride either one and be happy. The Valk is silky smooth and faster but way to quiet for most Harley dudes!!!

Yes, how DARE you question, ah, wait, ignore that man behind the curtain!!.. Grin

I like Harleys man...but their over hyped and over priced..and not what many think they are...

btw...just so you know, my buddy has been with this specific dealership for nearly two decades...He arranges all the custom work, does parts, service, help with sales...and in his bin alone...was the write ups for 800,000 dollars in bike/customization sales...  The wall by his desk sports over 4 awards for excellency....in all the arenas I mentioned above...school certificates...etc.

I said to him..."Yarbro, man you must be makin' BANK!"  He looks at me straight in the face and says...I made 30K last year! 2funny  I called him out on it...saying no way...he proved it to me...

I was stunned...  Harley just rips everyone off man...and laughs all the way to the bank.

30-40K for a bike?? 2funny  Really? 2funny

Tis all the plastic on our bikes. I started taking the plastics off today. The real guts underneath actually make the Valk look like  small petite hunny instead of the robust figure she usually has.

BTW I like more cushion for the pushin. Don't need to break any hips when I ride.

I love Harleys , I work on harleys. I own and ride Valkyrie  . I can't afford a HD. I love them because they keep me in money for my Valk.  The Valk is for a select few. BTW , that dealer is near me.

And it's 49 miles from me. I've been by it many a time but have never stopped.
