Hey Brew, was going till two Sundays ago swerved in a curve to miss a dog, and rode in and out of a ditch but had to lay the bike down to miss a concrete canal wall. Broken left fibula. So, don't swerve in a curve, be careful, will be there next time, probably Hill Country later this year!  Firefighter

OUCH! Get better, I look forward to seeing you next time. What's the recovery time on that?

Oh, also I think that's why LEO's are taught to run the dog over. Of coarse being that you were in a curve that's a whole other problem! I hope the bike came through it better than you did.

Think 9 to 12 weeks, but I will probably be riding before then. Yea, I was too fast in the only twistys within 300 miles. If that dog had run out anywhere else in south Texas I would have been fine. My add on driving lights are not working one is broke, looks like the left engine guard is bent back slightly, driving and passenger peg need to be adjusted, but so far haven't seen any other damage. I have not been able to look very close. Will be back soon, little more experienced I hope! Thanks, be careful, it happens in a blink, wait,, I don't need to tell you that do I ?
