Anybody out there put larger lights on your Cobra light bar?? Would love to see some examples as I intend to do just that.  I'll have to modify the windshield a bit but that's the way it goes....

I put brighter not larger.  I like the looks of these...kinda like the headlight shape, and they are halogen bulbs that light up the road.

Not on a Cobra bar but some idea of what 6" look like.
Had to move the indicators down a bit on the fork tubes.

Hey ChrisJ CMA, what Cobra part number are your upgraded driving lights?

These?http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/cobra-lightbar-spotlight-replacement/part/BLV4-9002?action=reviews

I love the way the bezels match the stock Valkyrie headlamp...

Thanks - both ideas look good.  I like the 6-inchers...

Well here is a question for those of you that have done this. You just mentioned the turn signals. Which brought to mind this issue.

I've seen cars with bright lights, so bright that I could NOT see their turn signal on, until I got real close to them and the glare was no longer in my eyes. This was day light driving.

Have any of you turn on the lights and signals, and gone in front of you bike, to see if your turn signals are visible over those driving lights?

Technically, it doesn't matter, since you need to wait for the road to be clear, before turning. But I'm thinking that the driving light would over power the turn signal so close to it.

Quite a bit cheaper at Phat Performance.

You could also mount them on the crash bar in addition to your existing lights. . Wink

These are driving lights not running lights.
With these hush puppies on no one will see the bike let alone the turn signals, their retina's will be burning.
Here it is law to go to low beam with oncoming traffic.
