Comment on my video: VALKYRIE DARKSIDE VIDEO ON YOUTUBE
"that's horrible contact . in your turns less that 40% of the tire had road contact. on in a line drive it had full contact when you only want 20% or less. this tire will provide horrible traction in turns and horrible gas mileage."

I would appreciate if Smokinjoe could respond to this comment on YouTube cooldude

Seriously, is gas mileage really an issue on a cycle?  I’m still getting twice the gas mileage as my van or truck, and it’s ten times more fun to drive!!  As for the traction issue, looks like the car tire gets just as good of traction in the corners, and if you’ve ever tried to stop in the rain or wet roads, that much more traction is what you want!!

I don’t ride a CT, but I probably will in the future.

To whom ever said this obviously has no experience with the dark side.

Since I installed a Good Year TT on my Valkyrie, I have been amazed at just how much traction there really is. The back seems to be glued to the road. And yes that is going straight or in a hard turn with the peg scrapping, and especially in the rain!!!
I have no intention of going back to a M/C tire.

Was riding on wet roads yesterday. Felt a lot more confidence with the C/T.
He probably has a bike with a rear frame that want allow a C/T to fit and is jealous.
Gas milage runs the same for me. Would get 166 miles average before going to reserve with bike tire and the same with the C/T.
Corners great.
Smoother and quiter.
Better braking tracton.
What's not to love about it?
