I have been looking but not found anything I want to do yet.  Plus my uneployeement has been denied. Lawyer is working on that. So I was thinking. I helped EEZZRIDER the other day on his valk with a small project. Why not help some of you guys while I'm out of work. So if anyone nearby needs some light work done on their valk let me know. Don't get to crazy but I could do some stuff like tires, valve adjustment, carb syncs (I got one of those digisync  carb sync tools I have not used yet)... , brakes and stuff like that...Fudge already asked me to do his timing belts..

So if you guys need anything done let me know. I will try to help you out....Oh I have been known to work on cars too...lol.

Too bad I don't live closer. There's all kinds of work I'd like to do on my bike.

I also have TWO vehicles down for transmissions.  tickedoff tickedoff tickedoff

Good luck!

I can vouch for good work done by Mark, my son. Together we installed a sidecar on the Valkyrie, not an easy task, including changing out the triple tree. The reduced trail triple tree was machined wrong and we had to figure that out and get back to the MFR.(It was made right)

He also installed a different engine in his brother's Pacific Coast, a tupperwear special  Smiley

For you old time vintage car drivers, Mark is an expert on rebuilding carbs, including Quadrajets.(sp)

Mark, what do ya think about installing fog/driving lights on an F6B?(Whenever I figure out which ones I want).I don't think the 7 mile trip to your place is too time consuming. Grin

Sure wish you made cross country house calls, Mark!  All my vehicles need the attention of a skilled mechanic.  Finding a good auto mechanic is hard enough here, and when it comes to finding a knowledgeable Valkyrie mechanic I might as well be living in Zimbabwe.

Mark you posted about doing "handyman" work. I have 2 friends who are very capable with their hands and they make more than a living doing just that.

One I introduced to my realtor girlfriend and she in turn tells her clients about him and he must get about 25 hours a week just from that connection.

He charges $30 an hour - too little - plus travel time. I believe he's about to increase his hourly charge.

The other charges $60 an hour which seems to be the going rate here in metro Atlanta.

I think Jess was the one that posted about doing handyman work. But Mark might have too. My dad does this for a living now and gets tons of business. Not sure what he charges hourly but it's nowhere near 60. He usually quotes per job.
