There are two dates circled on our calendar at the house. One is October 15.
The other is today April 14th. Exactly 8 months ago on August 14th, Kathy and I got devastating news. Our world came crashing down around us.
Today is Kathy's last chemo treatment. The Drs and Nurses at both Brigham and Women's and Dana Farber are by far the best at what they do. We could not have been treated any better. They truly are miracle workers.
We also could not have done it without the support, kind words and words of prayer and encouragement provided by friends and family. Specially her brother Colin.
I thank each and everyone of you for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
The Drs say the next 12 months tell the story, but they use the words "in remission" freely and her numbers are as normal as anyone elses.
Thank you everyone who has touched our lives.
Now on to the next big day.
