Hey Valky people, I'm new on a Valkyrie and I wanted to introduce myself.

I'm in Tempe, own a brand new 2014 (yeah, they sold that slow) ABS Valkyrie. After 400 miles of riding it in its black livery I decided to make it look a little more personal, so I painted her, got the seats upholstered (the rear seat has been removed, along with the rear pegs and the passenger's handlebars.) It is a strictly solo ride now, although I can convert it back to duo if needed.

I know I will go to Mesa on Thursday night for the Main St. Bike Night on occasion. Any of you guys go there? Also I heard of the First Friday of the month gathering at Westworld.

Welcome!

I'm in Mesa and while I've never been to either event myself, my SO was just mentioning the other night how we should start going. Just give a shout and we'll see if we can meet up.

If you've lurked around on this board you will have noticed it is not very active. 10 years or so ago this used to be a very active group, but not so much today.  But a few like to get together from time to time, so if you feel inclined, post a ride and a couple of us might even show up.

Sorry you can't make it for the Taco Tuesday ride.  Hopefully next time.

Thank you Tim,

I will post rides here. I used to ride with some NorCal people. Our gathering usually led us to the wine country to Nevada and back through Yosemite.

I read that the roads around Jerome are motorcycle-friendly and the views are spectacular. So I wouldn't mind going there and enjoying what the area has to offer food-wise.

For bike night in Mesa, I will likely have my friend Joe on his HD aside of me, as he is the one introducing me to it.

I have no idea what to expect in Mesa, if it is a big gathering, if it is mostly HD, but I'll see. I'm putting may 6th on my callendar.

I will put May 6 on my calendar as well.  But, perhaps, we have already shared some road together.

I rode out to Yosemite in June of 2002 and I believe I met up with the NorCal group.  Perhaps you were there?  Recognize anyone?  That is me at the far right in the photo.

Jerome is one of our favorite rides as well and would not mind doing it again.

Hope we can meet up on Main St.

Hi John, Ron and W0X0F!

W0X0F, sorry I misled you with my sierra post. It was with LABUSAS guys, I didn't have a Valky then, although I came close to get one. I just chose the Hayabusa for a while.
