Going against the grain

Front tire shot out at 3700 miles and the rear is not far behind. I ordered Mich Commander II with a similar load rating to the stock tires and mileage rating stats better than the other options out there

I wonder if there is a quality problem with the OE tires? I have 12000km (7500 mi) on my tires, and they still look great. I am sure I will probably get the rest of this season on them.

Stock tires- Dunlop. Today I ordered the rear tire Mich 180/55 ZR 17 Pilot, a little pricey but we will see how it performs. I ride hard and fast in the mountains, and just cruising around town
