Hello fellow owners, I need some advice.  I took of the carburetor  bank and rebuilt the carbs.  All new gaskets, needle valves, etc. including new fuel/air rail gaskets using Vtec gaskets.

Now my issue, I did not label the F$#@% intakes and now I have a problem.  They are of different heights, so is there any way to tell which one goes where?

I had just put the new O-rings in the intakes and have them setting just in two rows just like on the bike.  Looking at them it seems some are of different heights.  I dunno, I guess I will try it.  I am in desperate need of a ride.

Unless you are desmogged, vacuum lines and CSPs should narrow it some

Chrisj CMA, Yeah I am desmogged, did that 2  months after buying bike back in 1999,  just now getting back to putting it together.  I had changed strut assemblies and rear shocks today on my truck.  Now on to the bike.  So many projects and so little time.   Navarre, Fl.

Like CA said,, just put them on, they are all the same. AND make sure you get the boots on properly when installing the airbox,, a dental mirror and hook tool works for me to keep them from folding over where you cannot see them and causing problems...

You have a problem then, because they are all the same height.

LOL, Bighead,  I told you had had to many things going on. I had been changing the rear shocks yesterday (Did the front strut assemblies the day before) on the truck, and for a break I would sit down at the table with the carb assembly and work on finishing up putting the top end of the carbs together.  These 65 yr bones don't like crawling around the ground like they use to so sitting down somewhere for an 1 hr is a good thing. Smiley  Oh and I tore down the carbs last May, 11 months ago in St Augustine and moved over here to Navarre Fl. in the panhandle and started the rebuild.  So, yes finding all the parts has been a problem, I even ordered some gasket kits again because I couldn't find the ones I ordered last year.  I now found them so I can rebuild the carbs again in 12 years. Smiley

gordonv, It might be a visual perception looking at them, or the boots on the top that attached to the airbox might not be seated properly from pulling off the airbox.

I have lost or misplaced a small spring that fits in between the carbs throttle linkeage.  It pulls the throttle of the next carb, S#*$.  Honda SPRING Part # 16052-MB0-671.  Back to ordering again.
