Posted this on the 1500 Tech Board also.
Put a new rear tire on the I/S and am in the process of doing the final drive service. After I pulled the drive out and put in on the bench for cleaning I noticed a little indentation in the outer rubber wall. Looks like it may have been dropped at one time maybe????
Question is, should I be concerned about this or just try and see if it installs OK and move on?

Any advice is appreciated.

PS....John Schmidt, O'Reilly had the dynabeads in stock!!

Bob, I wouldn't worry about it. Might straighten it out a bit but it does look like it may have been dropped on that spot. I have one that's in no better condition I took off an old final drive, was on there for years.

Thanks John!  cooldude

Got the dynabeads in the tire, the final drive installed and everything ready for wheel install in the morning.
