I posted this on the 1500 tech board also.

 the right side works.

The left turn signal lights  are staying on (not blinking) and so is the turn signal indicator on the headlight bucket.  Both the front and rear bulbs are burning much brighter than the running light on the right side.  I have the switch apart and cleaned with contact cleaner but no change.
I have replaced front and rear bulbs on the left side still no change.
FYI the right side blinks and the indicator blinks before the blinker, not in unison.

Any ideas on where to look,
  Tony

Ground problems usually result in weird lighting situations.  Check all your grounds where they are attached to the frame.  Follow the wiring from the turn signals back to the wiring loom under the right side cover and unplug and reattach all the connectors.  It probably has nothing to do with the switch.

Thanks Thunderbolt tried that aand no change.  blinker relay clicks when right blinker is on, but nothing when left side is on.  Going to remove rear fender and check the wiring under there.  ordered a new relay too.

There is a connector there under the rear fender as you said.  Clean up those connections by "exercising" it a few times.  If memory serves me correctly the turn signal relay is behind the center cover, could be wrong on the location.

Found a couple wires that had bare spots seems that the car tire might have hit it.  Put some electrical tape on and turned key on and blinker started blinking then nothing.  Might have blown a fuse,  it had a 15 in there and I changed it back to a 10.  Going to check tomorrow after work.

Thanks for your help,
