I just wanted to extend my appreciation for all those who provide technical assistance to us novices about our Valkyrie.  Were it not for what I learned on this site I would have never have attempted repairs on my own. After 18 years of no problems with my bike she didn't start this spring. Through this "Tech Board" I was able to determine I had hydrolock along with a slew of vacuum leaks. Resolving them brought her back to life.  In addition I did get a Digisync unit and in all honesty a 6 year old could sync carburetors with this tool.  But without this Tech Board and all who provide good information I would have never learned of many useful tools.
Thank you all for sharing your knowledge!!!

I'm in total agreement! This is an awesome organization with an awesome forum. I am grateful for all those who have helped me.  cooldude

I believe we all feel that way, no matter how long we have been hanging around.  I purchased my '98 Tourer on Labor Day weekend in 2007, but I had been reading this forum for over a year before that.  The information here gave me the confidence to jump in with both feet and I'm happy to return the favor whenever I can contribute to the conversation...

I echo all the above sentiments! I would have never torn into my carb bank if it wasn't for this board. All my years of riding never touched a carb. Bought this beautiful 6 and tore into it. Look forward everyday to see what is posted and what I may learn.  cooldude

First Valkyrie in 2002 and I'm still thankful for those here with superior mechanical, technical and electrical knowledge.

If it wasn't for this forum help and the fine gentlemen that are part of this community, I would never started wrenching on my valkyrie (and now on my Suzuki Vstrom too!).

Maybe,, but I can say that I have been here (Valkyrie owner) about three years, and there have been some characters/contributors in that amount of time that have fallen by the way side or gone away, that I miss their contributions......
