I'm suspect of an oil filter which is sold as "chrome" but the spec says it's a HiFlo which makes a very good filter. I didn't know HiFlo made a chrome model.

Well, i gues it's not real chrome...more just a colour or paint.
I have used EMGO "chrome" filters for years which worked fine and looked okay,,,but it was not same chrome as the rest of the bike.. of course,,,

Compare your prices from PartsZilla with the same stuff from Procaliber. You might be surprised. For example last year I priced a new water pump for my 1200 from both dealers, Procaliber was approx. $12 cheaper.

Yes, looks like you are right!
However, Procaliber don't have the chrome oil filter I want ...

If you are set on a chrome filter, there is a chrome cover.

Buy a cheaper painted filter, and apply the cover.

Should save you a few $ on every oil change.
