So, someone tell me how many attended this gathering, it would be nice to see some shots of(not at

) those in attendance. Here's hoping someone carried their Casio, packed their Pentax, grabbed their Graflex, packed their Polaroid.....OK, I'll quit.

Anyway, you get the picture!(sorry) At one point Friday evening I had contacted Jeff Parker re. possibly riding over with him in a 4-wheeler, I'm just no longer comfortable riding in 90+ degree weather. Actually, as it approaches the upper 80's my comfort level starts to recede. It's been that way in over 60 yrs. of riding so it's not an "age" thing, although I'm sure that adds to the mix. I refuse to ride in nothing but shorts & t-shirt, though it may be more comfy it's also more dangerous. If I should ever go down, I want something more than just my rawhide between me and the tarmac and a layer of Denim will make a difference. My former wife worked in the ER for a number of years and knows that first hand.
As for attending, I called Jeff Saturday morning shortly after 8:00am to cancel, at which time I had less than 3 hrs. hours of sleep. I finally got up around 10:30am, had breakfast and hit the Lazy Boy with my coffee in hand. I woke up at 2:30pm to a cold cup of coffee and a growling stomach. Feeling rested at that point, after lunch I decided to hit the garage and do some organizing and tossing. In the end, I filled one large trash barrel.... it seems Rita was right(again) although I've filtered her comments about the contents of the garage for the purpose of this post.

And I gained a couple more feet in which to park the bike. As for Rita, she's doing some better but has little strength....at 92 lbs., who would?!? Very short of breath, a side effect of advanced Parkinson's disease, which in turn adds to the weakness and exhaustion she experiences almost constantly.
Hope to see you guys down the road soon.
