AM going to service pinion gear drvie shaft and differential for the first time myself.Question when I pull the drive shaft do I remove the rubber boot as well,or will the shaft come out of it without removing the boot?Thanks

Hope I'm remembering correctly, it will come out without removing the boot. Of course you can apply grease easier at the u-joint if you remove the boot.

When you unbolt the final drive and pull it off the drive shaft will be attached. You don't need to touch the boot

+1 and when you pul the shaft from the final drive just pull straight out on it, it don't feel like it will come out but just keep pulling straight out

I was looking for Big BF's video and couldn't find it to post. Your link didn't work for me tho
dunno. Maybe one needs to be "friends" with Big BF on Facebook in order to access it. I'll work on getting it a different way. Maybe it's on YouTube.
