Hello,

I don't know if this is the right place to post this message, but I am gonna give it a shot.  I recently moved to western KY and need to do some maintenance to '98 valk with 65,000 miles.  Anyone know of a good mechanic in the area?  It could be a shop, a dealer, or a guy with a garage.  I just want the job done right.

I usually do my own mechanic work, but it takes me forever since it is 'learn as I go'.  Plus, I don't have a shop available to me since the move.  The maintenance includes replacing/checking: forks seals, shift lever seal, timing belts, valves, syncing carbs, and u-joint.

Please, let me know if you know of someone in the area.  Thanks guys.

Cheers,

Jafe

In Canada, so can't help. But adding your location (specifically) to your profile, will help others who may be local to you offer some assistance.

I take my Valk to Ryan Dugab Nashville Motorcycle Repairs 30 Cleveland Ave Nashville Tn 615.742.4186 www.nashvillemotorcyclerepairs.com. I trust him totally. He co owns the shop. I am 60 miles from him in Bowling Green. You can get there. Call him. Ask him what he knows about Steve Peek's Valk.
