Author Topic: Clutch lever stops 1/3 way in.  (Read 1187 times)

 Got a member that's wants me to do the clutch on his 98 valk. He says the bike still moves but the clutch lever stops about a third of the way in. I'm not sure that's a clutch failure. What do you guys think????

Sounds like some rivets have been sheared.

Mark, that's one of the symptoms mine had when the rivets took a dump.

It would be worth looking at the clutch lever brass bushing before getting the tools out.
The bushing can wear causing strange lever function.
