I went for a ride today, probably the nicest day we have had up here in Mn... All I can say is, out of all the motorcycles I have had, I know I made the right decision on buying the 2014 Valkyrie. I was grinning, instead of teeth chattering with the nice, warm day we had. The more I ride this, the more I love the bike. I look forward to riding, and I appreciate my blue Valk......Sweet ........ I just wanted to say I really like the Valkyrie, and the Forum here is great, and an interesting read.

seems everyone makes a black bike, and YES the Blue is Nice but, I like the gold metal flake that shins through in the sun on the (maroon) I call it RED of mine------ now that more and more of us are getting the 2014s and really loving the bike, and the price lowered, I think it will be a bike to watch for on more rides and poker runs.... Of course I know the Valkyrie 1500 riders wont change and thats fine. I wish I could have kept my 1998 (maroon and cream ) 1500 just couldnt afford them both---- and the 1500 I sold to a Harley friend so we still ride togeather some times

Hey Dude...you know the blue has silver metal flake that is very obvious the more you polish it...and addition to a very slight purplish hue that also becomes more apparent with subsequent polish events!  I'm tellin' ya man...and this is to all the Valk riders out there...  That new Turtle Wax 'Ice' spray wax is flat out incredible! Cheesy  Seriously, you can put this stuff on the plastic as well...and it shines up nicely AND the windshield!  Cleans the bug crap off...hides scratches (within reason)..and my bike to the touch feels as if it has some kind of protective poly shell over ALL exposed surfaces...amazing stuff..I can only imagine how pretty that red paint job would get with this stuff.....here it is..

Not sure bout' the poinies, but it allows for higher scores in the wind tunnel! Grin Grin  Seriously though, I've been using Turtle Wax 'one step' silicone spray waxes now for decades...great stuff...Used it on everything...including using it as a lubricate for Teflon bearing surfaces...and on poly finished wood surfaces...

This new stuff is in an entirely different league man...  amazing...smells like a good whore too! Shocked
