Ok, so now that I have saddlebags on the bike I feel that I need the exhaust pipe extended past the bags for purely aesthetics. Anyone have thoughts on best way to do this? I like the slash tips (or miter).
 Thoughts?

I agree, with bags installed the pipes disappear.  Extensions would help.

ah man....those bags tho'

i feel ya in regards to the exhaust Jerry - those pipes are a beauty and nothing wrong with wanting to be able to showcase them. I have a feeling that extension tips may be pretty tricky on our Valk pipes...it would be sweet if there was a way to insert an extension in the mid section to keep the original tips, but just have them coming out past the rear a bit more.

Would something like this work? It appears they are longer than stock.

I put on the Jardines and liked the sound and the looks. I thought about extending the pipes but it never really bothered me and was never an issue. Sometimes it takes a bit to get used to a look when you are used to something else.

Does it have a removable cover like the old Valk? If it does, might be able to use the same type of truck stack. It don't look like it has a separate tip like the old Valk did. cooldude

I'm thinking the same thing! I would like to extend the muffler with some truck stacks to the back of the rear fender. I have Corbin bags on the back and I like the looks of the truck stacks anyway. I had them on my old Valkyrie. It looks like the tips on there now are tack welded on, instead of screws like the older Valkyries had. After the riding season is over I'm going to try to replace the tips with stacks and I will let you know how I make out!   Smiley

Exhaust tips are a nice addition but I found they get crunched when backing into those high curb parking spots,       to me I want the rear tire to be the bumper when parking, not my pipes.
