I researched the bleeding process after installing new SS brake lines and the apparent consensus is that it is just about impossible to properly bleed the (now drained and dry) system with speed bleeders. I don't have a mighty-vac nor do I have the OEM bleeders.
Suggestion welcome!

I have a OEM bleeder attached to a short hose attached to a syringe. When
the system is dry, take out the speed bleeder, screw in the OEM/hose/syringe
bleeder, fill the reservoir/MC and suck some fluid into the system to prime it.
Then put in the speed bleeder and go for it.
A small amount of mess might happen when you exchange the bleeders,
be ready for it, no need to get brake fluid on stuff.
I like speed bleeders, they help make it easy and simple to work on
your bike without extra hands...
