Visa called today, multi charges to my "internet card" (used only for internet purchases) was compromised on 9/16 and again today.  Charges over $700.  Called one vendor and cancelled a pending order, told them what happened.
Visas is sending out a new card.  Then a paperwork shuffle to figure "good" vs "bogus" charges and then it will get cleared up.  PIA

Glad I only use this card for the internet, makes it easier to track the charges.  I don't use it that often.
Somebody that likes Ipod Itunes will get a surprise when the charges don't clear.

info for online credit card purchases Citibank has a program that uses what they call virtual account numbers, what that is, is a card numbering system that is only good for one purchase. so if your card is comprised if really doesn't matter. the virtual number is linked to your real number through the bank so no one will know your real number....just you and the bank.

I don't work for the bank but would consider robbing a bank sometime, but i know crime doesn't pay so I guess I won't.
