Mr.Bubbles here we need the help of the VRCC family please. Monday my 89 yr. old mother (Betty Wilson) fell at her house and broke her left arm in two places. One of them a compound fracture. She didn't use her life alert button but instead wrapped a towel arround her arm grabbed her purse and keys and drove herself to the local hospital. They sent her to Herman Hospital in Houston to have surgery to repair the damage. The arm now has a plate, several screws in the large bone and rods and wire wrap on the small bone. The surgery went fine but she is not responding well to the pain in her arm and the bruised hip that she also got and doesn't want to get up and start walking arround so they will not release her I'm afraid she has just given up. laying in bed she is getting weaker by the day. Please pray for her to decide to try again.

Prayers sent.  If she drove to the hospital, the fire is still there.

Update. The prayers are working. After they got her off the strong pain meds. things started coming arround she is pretty much acting like herself again. She is still not wanting to do rehab but she knows if she wants to go home then rehab is the way to get there. I wish I could personally  thank you all for the thoughts and prayers but that would be very hard to do. I do think this board has some of the best people in the world on it. Thanks again

May the Lord be with you and your Family. It is known that this is a difficult time, but as he has done on many occasions for me and others, he will see you and the family through.

Momma (Betty Jo Wilson 89). Went to be with th Lord shortly after noon today. We were blessed with her in our lives for 89 wonderful years. She will be missed by all who knew her. Now the Lord will have to mind her.  Thanks for the prayer.
