After Inzane heading to Maine with some friends from the south how is rt 100 in Vt as far as road condition and any other roads ya think we should take.

It has been a few years so I can't speak for conditions, but if you run up RT8 in CT and follow through Mass into VT and pick up RT100 you can follow 100 all the way up to Canada.
I ran 100 from the top (Newport VT) down to  (Wilmington VT) and was very happy with the roads.

Hey Robin, a lot of Rt 100 was damaged by the no name storm a few years ago, but has since been all fixed and re-paved. It's actually better than before the storm.
If you have the time, ride up Mt. Greylock in Western MA.  All new road there too, up 1 side and down the other. Rt 116 in MA is sweet too. Hoosac train tunnel is near by too. If you want a MA guide, I'm heading that way too.

If ya have a favorite road set us with some info or ride it with us if ya can no plans to speak of just winging it although we do need to get a lobster in Maine.
