She's home. Picked up my 2014 black valk today. Put about 120 miles on taking the long way home. Now my 97 has a youngster to keep her company. I think I love this bike as much as my 97. Both are so cool but different. Here they be side by side. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g68/svsteve/IMG_0152_zpsmovx40u7.jpg

It seems the rank of old and new owners is slowly growing!

I was reading my owners manual and it said tool kit and document holder under right side cover. I looked and its empty. The dealer gave me a helmet holder strap and a little blue pouch with 1 allen wrench. Is that all or am I missing something.

There is most certainly an owners manual that comes with the bike. Helmet strap and Allen key are supposed to be there. The Allen key will fit the seat screws.

They look great side by side. I want a new one so bad it's killing me. Do you plan on selling your 97 or keeping it. That would be my problemb i could not get rid of my 98 tourer even if i bought a new Valk. I love the power of my 98 but the 1800 engine is super quick. Your's is a beautiful machine be proud of it.

No reason to sell the old. I still have an ear to ear grin when I take the 1500 out!!! Besides the market is so flooded and prices are so low I want another one.

Thanks for the tip on posting photos. I'll have to try next time. I'm not thinking of selling the old one. This is just another bike in my stable. Along with the Valks I have my 1st new bike I ever bought back in 83. 83 Harley FXR, plus a Suzuki SV1000, Triumph Bonneville America and a Special Construction project bike. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I just like bikes. The shop where I got the Valk had a new V-Max there. What a bike. If they ever discount that like the Valk I may get 1 of those also.
