Thanks for posting that, Jess.  I've traveled to a number of 3rd world countries.  The worst I've seen was in Mumbai... a young woman had her child sitting high on a pile of garbage... so that she could beat off the pack of dogs who were surrounding her... and this was the view from the Marriott. 
 
Slums?  Many places.  Poverty... so many places.  Laos... young children... 5 years old already working the fields... and doomed to repeat the lives of their parents who die at 40.
 
Education is the key, boys and girls.

Excellent presentation.  As an added bonus, the music comes from the first movement of the Carmina Burana (Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi) which always sends chills down my spine.
