One of the DFW crew has a potentially serious medical condition and needs our prayers as he goes through the process of diagnosis and treatment.

Please offer up prayers for a good prognosis and recovery.

I want to thank Valk Pilot for keeping this confidential. and for posting this for me.

I want to Thank every one for the Prayers and thoughts. I just spent the day at Presby Dallas to get a Biopsy done. I won't have any answers until later this week.

So let me give you some background. I've been dealing with pain issues in my right foot/leg/hip over the last 10 or so weeks. It goes all the way back to the gathering of the fools. So the pain in my foot felt like Plantar fascia so I did all the exorcises and stretches for that, then the pain moved up into my hip, and I thought the it was because I was favoring my foot and caused some inflammation. So I go to the Dr and he x-rays the hip and finds nothing but puts me on an anti-inflammatory. and it does not work. So several weeks later I go back to him and fully describe the pain and he thinks maybe a pinched nerve. So he sends me to have an MRI. and WAHLAH, The radiologist describes a "mass" on my sacrum that has displaced my S1 nerve root. He suggests that it could be some form of bone cancer but we won't know what it is until we get the results back from the biopsy.

So since then I've had an all body bone scan and a chest/abdomen/pelvic CT scan with contrast. these scans revealed that all of my organs are of normal size, shape and in the proper locations! And that I don't have any other Tumors in my body. This is the only tumor that we need to deal with.

So I will keep ya'll updated as I know what's going on when I know. But for now I don't have any answers beyond what I've posted. So in the meantime, I'm not going to worry about what I don't know or what I don't have control of!! I'm only going to do what I can do, and that is Pain management at the moment. So I will not be riding any time soon until I get off the pain meds.

Again I want to thank you all for the awesome support. You guys are my second family!

I will be putting you in my prayers.  Hope it is benign and the pain in your ass can easily be removed.
Thank God for modern MRI. We hope you can get back in the saddle soon.

I had to look up sacrum. My dyslexic brain read scrotum. That would be bad thing to lose.

Thanks for the update, Les.  That one sounds really good.  Let's have another good one next week!   angel

And for all you benevolent folks out there who are worried about Les's bike sitting up for too long, being an 1800, it's fuel-injected, so no slow jets to worry about.

And yes, dangit, he has a battery tender.  I already asked.   Cheesy

That back pain is a bitch - I fully understand.  Here's hoping it's just something simple and totally localized.  Prayers being raised.

All organs are of normal size, huh?  coolsmiley

Praying for you Les.  Cancer is a bitch, but can be beaten if caught early.  Hope it is benign and they can easily cut it out.
Sorry I didn't see this earlier.

God Bless.
